For schools + districts

Built for schools. Loved by teachers.

Class rosters with join codes work today. Site licenses, SSO, district rosters, and centralized billing are next on the roadmap — get in touch if you want to be a pilot.

Students join with a code, not an email

Teachers create a class, get a six-character join code, share it. Students go to /join/<code>, type a nickname, and they're in. No student emails collected — COPPA-safe by design, no parental-consent paperwork needed.

  • Zero student emails — ever
  • One join code per class
  • Roster view with last-activity per student
  • Plays attribute back to the right student for reports

Privacy-first by default

We collect the minimum needed to run the product. We never sell student data. SOC 2 attestation and a signed DPA are on the roadmap as we move into district contracts.

  • Data minimization across the stack
  • No third-party trackers in classrooms
  • Signed DPA — coming with site licenses
  • SOC 2 Type 1 — in progress

Teacher SSO + admin tools

Teachers will sign in with Google or Microsoft. Admin dashboards for usage and billing land alongside site-license rollouts. Today, teachers self-serve with email + password (Google sign-in is in final wiring).

  • Google sign-in — in progress
  • Microsoft 365 SSO — coming
  • Clever / ClassLink rostering — coming
  • Centralized billing — coming with site licenses

How rollout works

From first call to district-wide adoption — usually four to eight weeks, never a year-long implementation.

01

Pilot

1-2 schools, 4 weeks, no commitment. We help you set up rosters, classes, and a starter lesson library.

02

Roll out

DPA + invoice, teacher invites, sign-in via SSO. Most districts go from contract to first classroom in under two weeks.

03

Support

Same-day email, monthly office hours, custom training sessions for your teachers and instructional coaches.

04

Renew

Annual renewal with full usage report and ROI summary — teacher adoption, student plays, time saved.

What admins ask

The six questions we hear in nearly every district call.

How does the DPA work?+

We have a standard Data Processing Agreement aligned with FERPA, COPPA, and state-specific student-privacy laws (including SOPPA, NY Ed Law 2-d, and the CSDPA). Send us your district template and our security team will turn it around within five business days.

Can I see usage by teacher and grade?+

Yes. The admin dashboard shows usage by school, grade band, and individual teacher — lesson plays, active days, and tile types used. You can export any view to CSV for board reporting.

What happens to student data when we cancel?+

Within 30 days of cancellation we permanently delete all student records, rosters, and play history on request. Teachers keep their accounts on the free tier and can export their lessons at any time. We will sign data-destruction certifications on request.

Do you offer training for teachers?+

Yes. Every district contract includes a 60-minute live kickoff session and access to our async training library. Larger districts get optional on-site or virtual professional development sessions as part of implementation services.

Can teachers buy add-ons individually?+

No. Under a site license, teachers get everything in Pro automatically — there are no upsells, in-app purchases, or per-feature charges. One invoice, one renewal.

What's your uptime?+

We target 99.9% uptime, measured monthly. Status, incident history, and post-mortems are published publicly. Larger contracts can include a written SLA with credit terms.
