Click any tile to see how teachers use it.
Interactive launch tile types — including drop zones, matching pairs, reorder, and categorize tiles with real drag, sort, and click behavior. Mix and match in a single deck.
Every pixel under your control.
Most lesson tools give you templates and tell you to pick one. We give you a real canvas.
Typography & text
Eight reading fonts to choose from in Settings — Funnel Display, Geist, Geist Mono, Lexend, Atkinson Hyperlegible, Comic Neue, Quicksand, and OpenDyslexic. Bold, italic, sizes from 12 to 72px, color, alignment, line-height — every text knob you'd expect, and a few you wouldn't.
Borders & shapes
12 SVG borders and 11 SVG patterns. Recolor any of them to match your palette. Every card gets its own background color or uploaded image, and a template card paints shared elements onto every other card in the deck.
Backgrounds
Solid colors, gradients, patterns, uploaded images, branded backdrops. Per-tile and per-lesson — your aesthetic, your call.
Layout & positioning
Free positioning on an 800×600 canvas. Lock elements, send forward and back, rotate, resize, center horizontally or vertically — pixel-perfect when you need it.
Paste a 2-column list. Get a playable deck.
Already have a vocab list, a spelling list, or a Quizlet set? Paste it. LearnTiles auto-detects the separator, previews the rows, and builds a deck — flashcards, multi-choice, or fill-the-blank — in seconds.
Open the import modal, paste two columns of text from Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or Quizlet. We auto-detect tabs, commas, or pipes. A live preview shows what each row becomes before you commit.
Pick the tile type — flashcard, multi-choice, or fill-the-blank — and you're dropped straight into the studio with a deck of real tiles, ready to polish. A template card on top of the deck paints shared elements (header, watermark, mascot) onto every other card automatically.

Sound, built in.
Record, listen, speak. Audio is a first-class citizen — not a paid upgrade or a third-party plugin.
Audio Trigger tiles
Upload a clip and add an Audio Trigger tile — students tap to hear it. Stored in R2, served from a CDN.
Text-to-speech
TTS Button reads any text aloud through the browser SpeechSynthesis API. Adjustable rate so younger readers can follow.
Recording PromptComing soon
An on-tile prompt for student voice recording. Editable today; student-side capture rolls out next.
One link. Any device.
Share a public link with QR + 6-character PIN, or roster a class so plays attribute back to specific students. Works on any phone, tablet, or laptop — no app, no install.
Share by link + QR
Every deck gets a public URL, a 6-character PIN, and an auto-generated QR code. Set expiry dates, max-plays, shuffle, and show-score per share.
Drop into any LMS
Paste the link into Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, or Microsoft Teams. Native LMS integrations (one-click posting, grade passback) are on the roadmap.
Class rosters with join codes
Create a class, get a code, share it. Students join via /join/<code> with a nickname — no email, COPPA-safe by design.
Anonymous public play
Skip the roster when you don't need attribution. Students type a nickname, start the deck, and you still see what they did.
See what they're learning, live.
As students play, the deck's Live page streams active sessions tile by tile. After class, the Reports page aggregates per-student stats and surfaces the tiles that tripped people up — common wrong answers and all.
Small things, big difference.
The unglamorous details that turn a builder you tolerate into one you enjoy using.

Keyboard shortcuts
Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V / Ctrl+D / Ctrl+Z. Fast hands, fast lessons.
Built for every learner.
Accessibility isn't a checkbox at the end of the project. It's baked into how the studio works.
Alt text everywhere
Every image, every element, every tile.
OpenDyslexic built-in
A first-class font option in the dropdown, not a setting buried three menus deep.
Screen-reader ready
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, region roles on every tile.
Keyboard navigable
The whole studio works without a mouse — Tab, Enter, arrow keys.
